Hi, I'm Alexis!
I was born and raised in Marin County, CA, and have now been living Sonoma County for the past 4 years. Facilitating my gatherings and creating my products bring me so much joy and are a perfect representation of my authentic self.

My life has experienced a complete transformation, going from not living through much intention at all, to being filled with so much joy when I make things, since they are so incredibly intentional.
The amount of intention and ritual that goes into creating what I do really fills my cup, which is what drives me to do what I do.
The more that my cup is full, the more I pour from my overflow.
The more I pour from my overflow, the more it saturates the community.
The more it saturates the community, the more it just comes right back!

Everything I do is to help others fill their cups to do the same, which is the most magical thing of Moon Goddess Magic.
I co-host moon circles because it fills my cup to work with incredible women, work with the phases of the moon, and bring this type of gathering into the community.
I have been an observer of nature ever since I can remember and learned to observe how I feel during the moon phases. When there's a full moon, I can feel crazy... when there’s a new moon, I feel empowered. I haven’t studied it, it’s just what I’ve observed, but observing this about myself has been a really beautiful thing that has captured my attention for quite some time.
I realized other women feel the same way which makes gathering at these times so powerful. We’re so interconnected, it reminds me that we are so small in the grand scheme of everything but so hugely powerful.

When women come up to me and say, “Oh my god, (this thing that they set intentions for) happened since the last circle,” it makes my heart feel so full, knowing how amazing the benefit of these types of gatherings in our community can be.
Where it all began...
I became introduced to moon circles by attending one that took place hours away in the Pacifica area back in 2022. It filled my cup in such a way that I didn’t know it could be filled... you don’t know until you know. It was so electrifying to be in circle and community with other women.

I didn't know of anyone doing these circles in our community and didn't even know if anyone else needed something like this where I lived, but I knew that this was something that I needed to do regularly and decided to create it myself.

2 weeks later I hosted my first circle. Then a month later, I started co-hosting new moon circles with other women in the community. Now I co-host new moon circles and full moon circles every month and absolutely love the magic that is created in the co-creation with other women.
And then a mercantile was born...
I knew I wanted to do something and wasn’t sure what it was, and then I saw a spritz in the wild and it just clicked. I started listing all of these things I wanted to make to the friend I was with, and she said, "Then, why don't you?" That's all I needed to hear to start crafting products that aligned with me.
Story Time!
My whole journey has been me fully trusting the process and the belief in divine timing. Before I started Moon Goddess Mercantile, I had already been co-hosting moon circles for a while and then I faced an injury that put me out, which made me unable to be mobile enough to host circles. Around this time, I took a Reiki class to become Reiki attuned, knowing that I was going to start some sort of product business that I wanted to add extra healing energy into, but not yet knowing exactly what that was. ​

I had already been thinking about moon water spritzes, just picking out essential oils and crystals that called to me, and having water charged by the moon, but when this injury came it was the time to start putting these creative ideas into action.

I previously and somewhat randomly purchased 5 different crystals and 5 essential oils that I was now ready to use. When I did some research, I found that the ones I chose were the perfect matches to complement each other for their intention. Those were my 5 scents, and things just continued from there. Everything just came through me, and it was all aligning that this was something I was meant to do.

I have always loved making candles, the first time I remember was in elementary school where we made candles as a project. I have been on and off making candles through the years and have just loved experimenting with the process. For one of my circles, my co-host suggested we make roll beeswax candles, which I loved, and from there my love for candle making was rejuvenated and started up immediately!
I started by making scented candles, but I am sensitive to fragrance and making something I couldn't enjoy making or using didn't make sense. Then I thought, I'm not the only one with sensitivities... and continued to create candles that are unscented that everyone can enjoy!
I have just continued to create different types of products that are beautiful, intentionally made, with a lot of thought into it. I’m not entirely sure what comes next, but that’s not for me to plan. I love and have so much fun with what I do and embracing that makes myself and Moon Goddess Magic complete.
